November 5, 2024 Election Responses
Science and technology are vital to our everyday lives. In Iowa, they’re especially key to everything from agricultural practices to public health policy. As a coalition of science, environmental, technology and education organizations, we believe Iowans must know where politicians stand on important science- and technology-related issues. To provide this information, we asked candidates at the state and federal levels to respond to this survey.
These questions span a range of science and technology issues. Answers are presented as submitted (including expletives), without editing, commentary, or endorsement.
Scroll down to view the responses (the visualization may take a few seconds to load).
Not all federal and state seats have general elections in 2024, so there may not be any candidate for your district in certain races.
We will update responses periodically. If you do not see a response from a candidate we highly encourage you to ask them to complete the survey. We have a sample email text here. Contact information for candidates in your district is at the top of the visualization.
